Marinha Grande Nautical Station

Coordinated by the Municipality of Marinha Grande, it results from joint work with local partners, through the structuring of an action plan aligned with the coastal and riverine identity of this unique territory.

The ENMG brings together public entities, tour operators, accommodation and food establishments, local associations, sports entities and various institutions that, working collaboratively, enhance:

• the development of nautical activities throughout the year;
• the promotion of Praia da Vieira as the "Iodine Capital";
• the appreciation of natural and cultural heritage, especially the emblematic Xávega fishing technique;
• the creation of conditions for sporting and leisure events;
• the economic and touristic development of the entire municipality.

From Praia da Vieira to the Lis River, passing through São Pedro de Moel and all the complementary nautical offerings, this is an invitation to discover an authentic territory, shaped by the force of the Atlantic and the serenity of the Pinhal do Rei (King's Pine Forest).

Where the sea embraces the pine forest, the sand holds memories and tradition preserves identity.
