Vilamoura Nautical Station

The Vilamoura Nautical Station, located in the municipality of Loulé, aims to support the creation of a network that provides the conditions for high-quality nautical activities, offering a combined range of accommodation, restaurants, tourist entertainment, education, health and wellness, culture, sports, and other nautical support activities and services. This attracts tourists/visitors and the local community, adding value and generating employment throughout the year. The Nautical Station currently includes 64 companies/entities, allowing, through collaboration and cooperation, the creation of an integrated tourism product. This makes it easier to find what you're looking for, helps you book activities, and provides inspiration if you're undecided. Although the concept of a nautical station is recent, the "Vilamoura Marina" infrastructure is the oldest in Portugal, offering its visitors a vast and complete range of activities and services centered around a highly privileged nautical resource: the sea and the surrounding nature. It is capable of creating diverse and integrated experiences, allowing visitors to enjoy active holidays individually, with family, friends, or even a work group, catering to different tastes.

With the development of the Nautical Station, the main objectives to be achieved were outlined: improved coordination and collaboration among all partners of the Nautical Station in a joint effort; joint promotion, dissemination, and communication of all the infrastructure and services of the Nautical Station; protection and promotion of environmental quality at the Nautical Station; community involvement in the Nautical Station; combating seasonality; improving vehicle traffic at the Nautical Station; promoting safety at the Nautical Station; and holding nautical events at the Nautical Station. Measuring and increasing visitor satisfaction at the Nautical Station; improving accessibility for users with reduced mobility; and monitoring the performance of the Nautical Station.
