7ª Essência Surf and Bodyboard School

7ª Essência Surf and Bodyboard School was founded in 2005 with the dream of discovering and developing new surfers in Portugal. It began as a surf and bodyboard school, but over the years, it expanded its operations to other water sports such as longboarding and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Today, it is one of the oldest schools accredited by the São Paulo Surf Federation and a benchmark of professionalism.

Based in Linda-a-Velha, 7ª Essência Surf and Bodyboard School also has a school operating year-round in Ericeira. Therefore, various classes and activities are also held daily on the best beaches in this area, which was classified as the first World Surfing Reserve.

The concept of 7ª Essência Surf and Bodyboard School has always been to provide its students with complete, integrated, and effective instruction. In this sense, surf and bodyboard lessons are organized by learning levels (from beginner to competition) and consist of small groups of students, with the aim of ensuring safety, technical improvement and fun. All equipment appropriate to the student's height, weight and level of technical development is also provided. The beach where each lesson takes place is chosen considering sea conditions, the students' level of technical development and the type of surfing they practice.
