Since June 6, 2000, the Sesimbra Surf Club has been a non-profit youth, sports, and recreational association. Its objective is to promote the culture of wave sports, encouraging sports practice, recreational activities, and the personal development of its members, always with a focus on the holistic development of everyone. What drives them is a passion for the sea and the waves, and their mission is to publicize and promote water sports in the Sesimbra region. For them, this practice should always adopt an attitude of respect for the environment, the beach, and the sea, combining sport with ecological responsibility and respect for others. Above all, they want to offer a helping hand to new generations, supporting them in everything related to wave sports, helping to create a more conscious, united, and passionate community for the sea.
Fórum Oceano is the managing entity of the Portuguese Sea Cluster, certified and recognised by the Ministry of Economy and Sea, Ministry of National Defence, and Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure.
